In many ways it is hard to write on an ‘About me’ page… I am a lot of things, an independent women, a wife, daughter, sister, aunty, (Mum to a Fur Baby). I am an activist for Tibet and Burma, I believe in Peace and Non-Violence. I am a student at the centre for Peace and Conflict studies in Sydney, I am a Buddhist and so always trying to train my mind. A professional in the field of aid and development.

I have lived all my life comfortably in a beautiful part of Sydney, Australia and I think it is because of this that I am so motivated to speak out about injustices in the world. I feel that all people deserve the freedom and peace that I experienced in my childhood.

“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.” – The Buddha

So I guess I will try to use this space to travel the road to truth as best I can.

Mostly I will be using this blog to talk about the path my husband (Husbot) and I have chosen to create a family – intercountry adoption. This is a long path that already has been and will continue to be a learning process for our whole lives. But will mostly just be about the love in our lives. Hence this will be about my sleepy little family.
